Hello everyone. Over the last few months I've become addicted to autocross and rallycross. I want to start recording my runs but I don't want to drop the money on a gopro yet. Any action camera or phone mount recommendations? I have a SGS3. Here's a shot of one of the NSF lemons cars I got to drive. Thanks

Galaxy 3 costs ~$350 if you broke it and will take subpar video in car, whereas a black edition gopro is $399 or silver $299 that will take way better video, have way more features, are water proof and could take damage, suction cups, rollbar, sticky mounts. You could prob pick up a used Hero2 for super cheap (which can still shoot in 1080P at 30fps. I've used mine to film offroad, drifting, cliff jumping, hiking, surfing. I say just comit to the gopro. Don't waste money on a cheap action cam.

Monoprice.com has their own brand of camera that I was looking at to have with me when I go on cycling trips. Doesn't seem too bad.
